Sweetland is like the cinematic equivalent of a Sara Harmer song. Very well done, and very pretty.
It's not the type of film I'm normally drawn to, but I'll watch anything. Every once in a while I come across a romance like this one, that isn't painfully mellow dramatic and stupid.
