Review of Sweet Land (2005) by Jean B — 01 Jan 2008
This is a rich film, delicious to look at and study. There's something mysterious that happens here -- something I don't quite understand. The town shuns the German woman and her husband, Olaf, but then they somehow rally around them.
I guess it just doesn't seem real. A lovely film, though.
