Review of Sweet Land (2005) by Tracy Y — 11 Jan 2008
It was a sweet and beautifully shot. I loved Inge. Some of the stuff was a bit unrealistic, but didn't really detract from the movie for me- Like two people clearing an entire cornfield... is that possible? I also felt that the response that the neighbors had to the couple in the end of the movie was a little bit Disney-ish given the deep rooted anti-German feelings of the time.
