Review of Sweet Land (2005) by Grace V — 21 Jan 2008
This is the type of movie I usually like, but I really didn't like this one and just watched it to get it back to the library. I didn't like the framing scenes (do we need a flashback within a flashback?) and I think there was a lot of distance created with the girl not being able to communicate.
She just seemed blank most of the time.
