Review of Sweet Land (2005) by Walid N — 20 Jul 2008
A finely crafted work that meticulously detailed the issues and difficulties of immigrants and the sheer will to settle in to a new place. I also appreciated how it wasn't overly romantic and still allowed close examination on the ignorance of those that take their fortune for granted.
Reaser also puts in a convincing performance to make this an interesting watch.
