I think I saw this at some point and found it sufficiently entertaining, but it was on TV again this evening and ...bleh. The stereotypes of Southerners/country people weren't so much cutesy as slightly offensive, and the depiction of New Yorkers/city people weren't too flattering either.
I like you, Reece Witherspoon, and I know you have authenticity in that you are actually a legitimate Southern gal, but did you worry at all about this movie making Legally Blonde look like Shakespeare? .
..Or was that part of your genius plan? ;).
