As likable as Reese Witherspoon is, even she can't save this awful screenplay. I'll never understand why people who live in Los Angeles make movies that glorify small towns in the South. Guys, if you like it so much, just move there.
There's nothing to do and you can't make movies, but if SWEET HOME ALABAMA is the best you can do, maybe that's not such a bad thing. The most interesting thing about this movie is the original ending, which is so wrongheaded, it must be seen to be believed.
