Review of Sweet Dreams (2001) by Mark Karl H — 31 Oct 2009
Patsy Cline gets a rambunctious bio-pic with Lange lyp-synching to Patsy's originl songs. The film focuses largely on her abusive relationship with her second husband Charlie Dick. Lange does a superb job of fleshing out Patsy and making her as raucous as we suspect she was.
Great support is provided by Ed Harris as Charlie and Ann Wedgworth as her mother.
