Review of Sweet and Lowdown (1999) by George B — 05 May 2008
I love the heart in this movie. The main character has such a tormented, insecure persona. The guy is a super-talented guitar player with great soul and still lives in the shadow of his self-proclaimed rival throughout the film.
Seeing the madness in Sean Penn's eyes is beautiful.
