Review of Sweet and Lowdown (1999) by Lisa B — 14 Mar 2009
I don't typically like Woody Allen films, but Sean Penn was so quirky and engaging in this one, I couldn't help but like it. He was odd and conflicted, but very funny in his way. The fact that Samantha Morton was a mute certainly made things interesting.
