Review of Sweet and Lowdown (1999) by Michael A — 01 Aug 2008
This was surprisingly good. I figured as the movie went on, I would not like it because Emmet Ray is a dick, but it turns out his music is far too intoxicating and Samantha Morton far too adorable (and criminally underrated), that everything balances out in the end.
Kind of like a cross between a documentary and a normal Woody Allen movie. Good stuff right here.
