Review of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) by Mike W — 12 Dec 2012
For the longest time, I had no idea this was going to be a musical. I knew it was based on one, but didn't know if the film would be. This now means that Tim Burton's last three films have all been musicals starring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter.
This was easily the darkest of those films, and one bloody good time. Gotta love those movies where everyone dies.
