Review of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) by Thomas K — 01 Apr 2015
It really is a great film, and it uses the Sondheim material beautifully. It's just a shame that those great performances are so badly sung ; this is a film whose soundtrack falls apart without Burton's eye popping imagery.
It's still a must see film.
