Review of S.W.A.T. (2003) by Andersson M — 13 Sep 2009

I really tried to prevent myself from ever seeing this movie. I mean, the combination of Farrell, Rodriguez, and LL, as irresistible as that may sound, was just too much of a deterrent. Unfortunately, however, some idiot decided to make this some disgusting marathon event on one of the cable channels. Therefore, like an idiot, I felt obligated to see it. Maybe it was LL's pecks....or the possibilty of LL having a pet parrot, ala "Deep Blue Sea." I don't know what it was that drew me to this movie. In any event, I saw it.

The action sequences, though trivial, cheesy, and over-the-top, were entertaining. The acting, for as much as I wanted to rip it apart, wasn't incredibly bad....er, it wasn't good either. The plot was was okay, fairly plain, but okay. So, in summation, this movie pretty much sucked.
