I haven't seen the original S.W.A.T. TV series so I can't tell you if this is a spot-on adaptation. Let alone compare the two. That said, those who are strictly ardent about seeing a mindless action flick will definitely have a good time with this. Especially seeing how it also has a very likable cast as well. Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Farrell, LL Cool J, and of course Michelle Rodriguez in all her glory are very fun to watch here. Definitely a solid popcorn flick to watch on a free weekend.
