Review of S.W.A.T. (2003) by Giulian T — 20 Mar 2012
I love Michelle Rodriguez - why isn't she bigger than she is? Any woman who looks as good as she does - not on the red carpet - AND has such outstanding acting abilities deserves better roles.
The roles she's taken thus far have certainly got her but she deserves so, so much more.
I like S.W.A.T. the first time I saw it. Liked it enough to but it even though I seldom watch movies. I'm in the process of watching them all again to review here.
So.... just finished S.W.A.T. and I'm glad I had a reason to research it. L.L. Can show that stomach off in any movie IMO! Phew.
Seriously, the cast is all there and even though the storyline isn't the most believable, sometimes we need that. Drama and Action movies are far fetched for a reason sometimes. It's fun to wonder 'what if'..
I'd go out of my way to recommend to movie lovers who like this sort of film.
Samuel L. Jackson is outstanding - of course. I'm not a Colin Farrell (spelled right? Not even sure) fan but he was a good fit here. I'd like to see him in another role similar to this with a different story to see how that goes.
