This movie is dumb but not stupid, it knows how to spoof 50's horror flick and comics without condecending. Adrienne Barbeau and Louis Jordan are exactly the type of good-bad actors for this sort of thing, she's done enough stupid but unfunny low budget horror movies at the time to appreciate the chance to spoof without stooping, and the only thing the oily Jordan is lacking is a waxed moustache to twirl.
This movie realy should have been shot in B&W however.
