Review of Svaha: The Sixth Finger (2019) by Jluis_001 — 12 Jan 2021
It could've been so much better, but it gets lost in frustrating elements that never make it into something satisfying or coherent.
Besides that it has a huge problem with respect to the protagonist, who barely does anything and is merely a narrative conduit, so the story and outcome of it don't fall on his shoulders.
So it goes without saying that that was a brutal screenwriting mistake.
I gave it a softer rating for certain spooky details like the atmosphere and the themes. Other than that, there is not much to take.
