Review of Suspiria (1977) by Dsfsdfdsf S — 14 Aug 2012
Rather idiotic and stilted, but that's something that comes with the territory. Where it succeeds is its single-minded use of the medium in the emotional communication of childlike wonder. Think about some of the imagery, sounds, characters, etc: bright primary colors, huge architecture, sinister lullaby-like music, impossibly immature, catty girls, an ogre-like, lurking servant, etc.
It's all like some daycare memory that's been toiling around in Argento's head.
