Review of Suspiria (1977) by Nguyen Thuy H — 04 Oct 2014
This is only one of the few times when I am genuinely scared. All bow to the director for his manipulating effects. Also, if this film is really a reworking of Snow White, then it's really an empowering version.
Snow White fights off evil by herself, despite the film's dropping hints of hunky "princes" throughout. What could be more exciting than that?
