This is a very highly regarded horror/cult film, but it just didn't work for me. It's know for its use of colour and also its score, but neither could compensate for the lack of story or poor acting.
It's not often that I go against the grain of serious film fans, but I am on this one as I didn't like it. I haven't been doing well on the Cult Classics I am catching up on, I didn't like this, "El Topo", "Black Christmas", or "Eraserhead", I guess it's just not my genre.
Skip it.
