Review of Suspicion (1941) by Lucille W — 22 Feb 2008
Not his best and he doesn't take enough time with the ending. But still a clever and suspenseful Hitchcock film. Cary Grant is remarkable and as versatile as they got. Fontaine is also brilliant and rightfully earns equal screen-time.
The film does switch its tone better than most and again, if Hitch filmed the action a bit better and took a bit more time with the ending, it could've been a near masterpiece.
