Review of Suspicion (1941) by Laura N — 07 Aug 2008
It's a good movie. It's always weird for me to see Cary Grant as an unsympathetic figure. I think it would have been better if they had used the ending from the book. I heard that Hitchcock wanted to use that ending, but the film studio couldn't have Cary Grant playing a murderer.
The problem is, their ending felt...contrived. Otherwise a very enjoyable movie.
