Review of Suspicion (1941) by Martin T — 17 Sep 2009
Not considered by most to a Hitchcock classic but it's always been one of my favourites. It starts as a typical Cary Grant comedy and gradually moves into something much darker. A shame Hitchcock felt the need to go for a 'happy' ending but I can forgive it for that.
Fontaine is the same as she was in 'Rebecca' and can be a little annoying sometimes but Grant is great and makes a great double act with Nigel Bruce.
