Review of Suspect Zero (2004) by Ant G — 01 Mar 2008
This movie blends influnces like the Xfiles, Seven, and Nos Miran. I was very pleasantly surprised with this movie. Ben Kingsley is probably one of UK's best actors and he's played in a few bum movies - most recently the Last Legion, but he holds up his end in all movies to deliver, simply a very solid performance.
Despite some of the reviews here, the idea of remote viewing has featured in some TV series, but not in a movie - at least to my knowledge.
I liked the tension and the disbelief in Kingsley's character... is he a good or a bad guy? Hey, I'm not gonna say.
The ending is a lot like Seven and I'd say the big truth is more between characters than the existence of a serial killer.
It is let down slightly but I enjoyed it to the end!
