Review of Sushi: The Global Catch (2012) by Joe A — 04 Feb 2014
Loses a whole star for misleading me. I detest films that say they're one thing so you can watch and then flip it around. The description of this film on Flixster is correct, but Netflix describes it as a History of Sushi film.
This has nothing to do with the history of Sushi and is all about a dry one sided view of the extinction of Bluefin Tuna. Don't get me wrong, I actually agree that we are over-fishing BlueFin Tuna to extinction, I agreed with it when I found out about it a decade ago, I agreed with it 3 years ago when I visited Monterey Bay, and I agree with it still.
But it wasn't the film I wanted to see. and I can't stand Docs that are just one sided.
