Review of Surviving Christmas (2004) by Lucas Y — 14 Jan 2010
I am one of the few to admit that I really liked this movie. It becomes very predictable at the end and loses some of its momentum, but the rest is entertaining and funny. Ben Affleck does a great job showcasing his over-the-top joy when he gets his wish to celebrate Christmas like he did as a kid.
Subtle jabs and uncomfortable situations help make this movie a holiday treat.
