While not as atrocious as his last outing, Diary of the Dead, the new film from George Romero doesn't come close to the fun and social commentary of Land of the Dead either. Consider this nothing more than an undercooked Hatfield/McCoys story mixed with zombies.
Despite a few fun zombie kills, there's not much here for casual viewers and even die hard Romero enthusiasts may find themselves bored(as I was throughout most of this film). There are much better(or at least more entertaining) zombie films out there.
