I enjoyed Land Of The Dead and Diary Of The Dead, and this is how I pay for it! I was dumbfounded by how bad this film was, and I didn't want to believe that this was the same George A. Romero who directed the original Dead trilogy.
Everything about this film is lazy, from the writing, to the violence and gore, and even the political messages Romero is famous for putting in his films is also incredibly lazy. This film is a total bore to watch and I actually struggled to stay awake because of how boring it was.
How could a great director fall so hard? Spare yourself the pain of bitter disappointment and never see this film.
