Review of Survival of the Dead (2010) by Marc " — 10 Feb 2014
What we've got here is a just a B-movie western with buckets of gore, which might be fine coming from a Romero wannabe but not from the genuine article, but maybe that's the problem, it doesn't feel like a George A Romero film, the satires gone and all we're left with is pointless characters getting bumped off one by one.
The gore isn't as bad but has it's moments but the script is weak and seems to have been made of the spot. The special effects also seem to be 10 years behind. I love "Of the Dead" series but this is the weakest and pointless entry.
It's about time to put this series to sleep...or dead.
