Review of Surf's Up (2007) by Lee C — 02 Jul 2009
Forget that it's animated and the characters are penguins, this is well put together, hilarious and has all the classic make up of a classic fable, sprawled out into an entertaining surf flick. The graphics are breathtaking.
The only thing I can compare it to was when I was actually standing at Pipeline North Shore Oahu. The documentary/reality style filming is great and all the characters are so strong. A must see for all children (and the young at heart) and anyone who has ever surfed or even dreamed of surfing.
