Review of Surf's Up (2007) by Electro P — 20 Sep 2012
My first initial thought was 'this is gonna be lame' a family friendly animation about surfing penguins certainly dosent pose much potential, however after only a few minutes in I began to realise that this isnt your average kids movie.
the characters were all wonderfully individual and not the usual personalities found in typical kids films, and were quite humanlike at times. its style is creative, shown as if its a documentary, and animation is sleek.
it is also sure to make older viewers laugh, which is a rare quality of this genre of film; I couldnt help but find myself smiling throughout. hilarious, fun and with a feel good vibe, surf's up is definately muchly undderated: watch it now!
