Max, the confident firstborn of a wealthy Dutch-Jewish family, enjoys security, love, and his father Simon's pride as head of SuperTex. Yet a sudden nagging self-doubt and inner emptiness drive him to question his path. The film follows Max's journey to reconcile his desire for change with familial expectations and deep-rooted tradition.
