Review of Supernova (2000) by B R — 11 Jan 2008
I don't know if the R-rated version I saw is that much different from the theatrical version people seem to dislike so much, but I thought this movie was much better than I expected. I am always surprised how much I enjoy watching James Spader (Stargate, Secretary, etc) and the visual effects in this movie, aside from the weightlessness shots, were reasonably solid.
If I had a complaint, it would be the inconsistent dependability of the AI, "Sweetie," but overall, this movie has more re-watch value than many movies like it.
