Review of Superman vs. The Elite (2012) by Steve R — 10 Jan 2013
This movie is smarter than it appears to be. Aside from noticeably crappy animation, flat characters, and dropped plot explanations, it successfully shows us that Superman is still relevant today, and that his messages of responsibility, compassion, and justice are just as important for those with power over others. I wasn't the biggest Superman fan before I saw this, convinced that his character was outdated and needless in this time. Superman VS The Elite convinced me that he was.
But the animation is still crap.
