High expectations that just weren't lived up to. Kevin Spacey was perfect for the role of Lex Luthor, but they didn't take enough advantage of that. There were two or three brilliant moments involving Luthor where there was room for much more.
Bosworth as Lois Lane was a miss in my opinion, but then again.. I'm not a big fan of her to start with. The moments that were supposed to touch you, didn't. Scenes that were supposed to thrill you were dull.
I love super hero movies, but this was hugely disappointing which I hate to say considering I adore Kevin Spacey.
