Review of Superman Returns (2006) by Arthur L — 06 Oct 2012
Bryan Singer's intention to honor the films of the last son of Krypton Christopher Reeve resulted in a film boring and predictable. Starting with the main actor (Brandon Routh), who did not feel comfortable in the clothes, and seems not to transmit any charisma.
Lex Luthor's plan seemed to be great, but eventually becomes something too clichà (C) for a smart villain, with the script, which seems to have been written in a hurry at the moment. But your points that save the projection are the consequences of the lack of Superman in Metropolis and energetic performance from Kevin Spacey as Luthor, as good as the paper it was Gene Hackman.
