Bryan Singer presents what many have deemed the ultimate tribute to Richard Donner, and that is the best and worst thing about this movie. While enjoyable, the film spends too much time trying to pay tribute and not enough time standing on it's own to truly give the amazing cast a chance to flex their muscles, as it were.
