Review of Superman Returns (2006) by Ashley V — 01 Aug 2014

After a long over-due second viewing of this film, I realized that this film was not as bad as I first thought.

It is by no means great but instead the kind of film that when it got something right, it was really right but the same went for the bad.

I was not disappointed by Kevin Spacey's performance but rather by the way Lex was written and the material that he was working with.

I can respect the direction they took with the film in attempt to give fans something new but I think Bryan Singer should stick to X-men.
