While I don't hate the movie I actually kinda of enjoyed it. The film lacks a main element that every Superman film must have and that is Superman. While Brandon Routh portrayed the character he was given very well and I actually liked his look as Superman it wasn't the Superman we needed in the film.

We needed a Superman that could demonstrate his powers. This Superman hardly ever wanted to do that. And so this films lacks a little for me.
