Review of Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987) by Keith O — 14 Mar 2009

This was not the movie to finish Christopher Reeve's career as Superman. As I understand it, he would not make the movie unless it was the story that he worked on. The problem was that major parts of the plot that he wrote were left on the cutting room floor (DVD shows you the deleted scenes).

This was one of the worst directed and edited movies I have ever seen...plus the fact that one of the subplots completely destroys the message of Superman II. When it was released, Christopher Reeve must have been furious.

Good job, producers who shall remain nameless. You laid a huge egg.
