Review of Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987) by Oliver R — 11 Aug 2013

From reading all the comments one must agree no matter how die hard Superman they are, is that the effects were very cheap and unrealistic indeed also the intro of the film didnt give the viewers the level of anticipation and excitement as the other 3 movies.

The movie budget of $17 million is mainly responsible for this disaster. Also the movie in my view felt short and something things were missing from it as it didnt went to explain how some things took place.

It looked like a rushed project. But I guess it does show the love interest between Superman and lois and lacy and Clark. Perhaps with a much bigger budget and using a well developed script, fans and critics would have thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Nevertheless, any Superman follower or worshipper would still enjoy this film for what its worth.
