Review of Superman III (1983) by Zane T — 02 Oct 2010
Well, it could have been worse (i.e. Superman IV: The Quest for Peace). This attempt to turn the Superman film franchise into a more comedic fare was awful. Richard Pryor does his usual schitck which was never good in a movie.
Robert Vaughn as a corporate villain is more parody than evil. The movie's only saving grace is seeing Superman as a baddie and the scrapyard battle between Evil Superman and Good Clark Kent. That is worth the price of admission.
