Wretched. With the spectacle of Superman onscreen less impressive by this point, the screenwriters decided to give it a backseat to slapstick and silly humor, which is extremely annoying in this movie.
None of the characters are interesting at all, and Richard Pryor's presence is unwelcome and obnoxious (and I love Richard Pryor). LAME villains and a climax I had to struggle not to fast forward through.
NOTHING makes sense, from the synthetic kryptonite to Superman fighting Clark Kent. Overall stupidity and awfulness is only rivaled by the fourth movie, and speaking of that travesty....
