Review of Superman III (1983) by Adam O — 12 Jan 2013

Maybe I'm just too used to Christopher Nolans dark Batman films, but I just can't get into the Superman series (apart from the first one). The third instalment is much more devoted to being light hearted and witty than the first two (which is saying something) but the humours quite hit and miss and at one point it basically turns into a sketch show of Superman saving various people.

Once it does attempt to get into some sort of plot it just wasn't really that interesting. Superman's fight with his geekier self was quite cool, but you would have thought considering everything he can do, he'd know if he'd just picked up a lump of kryptonite?!
