Review of Superman III (1983) by Jeff B — 31 Mar 2016

Parts of this movie blow Superman II out of the water. (Basically all of the angry/drunk Superman stuff.) And then there's a lot of stupidity in this film, too. But, I think that Robert Vaughn plays an interesting villain and his seemingly ditzy wife is interesting in her own right.

Richard Pryor is used well and doesn't drag anything down into absurdity unless that's his purpose in any given scene. Overall, I thought it was an entertaining movie that could have been better than it was.
