Yeah, this is where it all goes downhill. Richard Pryor, while undeniably a comic legend, his humor does not translate to a PG rated film, let alone one that's supposed to be about, y'know, SUPERMAN.
It still has a few good scenes here and there (particularly the junkyard fight), and Annete O'Toole is very charming as Clark's new love interest, but so much of this installment falls flat it's a wonder they didn't just stop here (and once you see the next one, you'll wish they did.
..).
