This movie is mostly the epitome of why I don't like Superman -- an invulnerable guy fighting the bad guys.
Additionally, why is Lex Luthor drawn like he has an alien head? And why is Toyman some random grungy dude?
Superman isn't some strong dude, he's an alien. If the author remembers this, then it's bound to be a good story. Unfortunately, this is just some other random story that shows us why Metropolis has the busiest architects in the world.
