Umm so, I have to say I was really surprised with how bad this was. I'm mostly unhappy with the liberties they did not take from the official comic plot, (and someone obviously read Kevin Smith's Superman Lives script).
Where they really failed was capturing Superman's character. thousands of people have clearly died by the end of this battle and I don't think superman would let that happen. It's also very disjointed, cramming too much into a short movie, so all these epic evens just pop up and then disappear.
Last but not least, who did they get to draw this? Let's take the great Justice League character design and make it our own, by adding these nonsense inverted cheek lines to Superman's face. C'mon!
