Review of Superman: Doomsday (2007) by Janifer C — 20 Nov 2009
You would figure a Baldwin would play Superman. Warner did something smart when they produced the DC Cartoon series: they didn't fall to far from the comic book storyline. They added dimensions to the characters in the cartoons that made it worthwhile to watch. Unfortunately all to often, studios rely upon the name of a product to bring in audiences, but Warner knows (most likely by watching all other fail) that the system is flawed, and to solidify a following, you must stay true to the name.
Superman always seemed too goody goody to me, however it was nice to hear Lois call him out to be a afraid of commitment. It's also nice to see his mother show some attitude rather than be all innocent, apple pie, calling out the clone as "not my son" was fun to watch.
